Library and Fine Binding Collection

The American Academy of Bookbinding has a growing library of books and periodicals on bookbinding to help students enhance their learning and exploration into the world of Book Arts, Fine Bookbinding, historical structures, and the conservation of books and paper.

In particular, the Fine Binding Collection preserves and promotes the art of fine bookbinding and showcases outstanding original works from students, instructors, and binders worldwide, highlighting the book as both a vessel of knowledge and a unique work of art. This collection grows through donations and the generosity of individuals whose support enables the preservation of important works, expands access to fine bindings, and inspires future generations of students and book lovers.
